January Sermon Series "Shine"

During the first four weeks of January, Pastor Joe Schultz will present a series of sermons under the the title “Shine”.

These sermons are meant to present a message of hope where the light of Christ shines in the darkness we all experience. The four-part series will be based on the following truths:

• We need the "light.”
• We can trust the “light.”
• *We are the “light”.
• *We tell others about the “light.”

We will be wrestling with the questions:

• “If Jesus is the light of the world, how come instead of moving at the speed of light, Jesus takes his time entering my darkness?”
• “What happens when the hope that shined in my darkness goes dim?”
• “How is it possible that I can shine light in a dark world; doing justice and loving mercy?”
