In honor of St. Francis Day, ELC is hosting a Blessing of the Animals Service on Saturday, October 6th at 3:30pm on the church lawn.

It will be a time for all members of our community (human and animal, alike) to reflect on the joy that animals bring to our lives through song, words, and individual blessings. All are welcome!

To further honor all of God’s creatures, we ask that all participants bring a donation or money to be given to the Chicago Canine Rescue https://chicagocaninerescue.org/. If you cannot attend the service, still feel free to bring donations to the church house.
