While Advent is a season of hope and Christmas is a season of joy, not everyone feels hopeful or like celebrating. Grief, illness, aging, depression, loneliness, unemployment, loss and stress are magnified. The Longest Night service provides a time and place of solace where, in our sorrow, we still long for hope. We come together seeking healing and room to share grief, sadness, loneliness or confusion when these emotions feel out of place during the holidays. Join us for a time of healing, song, and prayer, Thursday, December 20th at 7pm. May the hope of the Christ child sustain us through this darkness together, that we may shine again.
